Fall Maintenance...
Remove any birds’ nests from outdoor light fixtures and chimney areas.
The dry bird’s nest material can present a fire hazard in both locations (even if you do not have a wood burning fireplace). And, with the heating and fireplace season right around the corner it would also be a great time for a professional chimney inspection.
By the way, when removing the birds’ nests, be sure to wear gloves – those things are full of all sorts of nasty germs.

With colder days and nights just around the corner, now is a good time to have your heating system checked out by a pro. A good heating contractor will ensure your system is operating at peak efficiency and free of any Carbon Monoxide leaks.
Time to 'Green-Up'
Ensure storm windows are closed tightly in the fall to reduce heat loss and drafts.
