radon gas testingbe safe
Radon Gas is an odorless, colorless, naturally occurring radioactive gas. As a radioactive gas, it can lead to an increased risk of lung cancer over a period of time. In fact, it is reported to be a leading cause of lung cancer, second only to smoking.
You should know, every house has some level of radon gas. The question
is: how much? When the level of radon is elevated above a certain threshold, the EPA recommends further action be taken to reduce its presence.
While a home with elevated radon gas levels can be corrected, the cost to do so generally starts around $1500.00. Likewise, because a home has elevated levels does not mean you should walk away and keep looking.
Because we are the lab, we do not need to send the tests to a third party for interpretation. We undergo a rigorous qualifying program established by New York State and routine audits to maintain this certification. All to ensure you are provided with the best possible service and most accurate results available.
